I am a wife to my husband and a mom to two precious girls. I went to school to be a civil engineer but really should have followed my heart and gone to school for photography. It is my love.
I prayed for guidance a little while back. Should I pursue my dream of becoming a photographer? I prayed that if this is not my path, please close that door. But if it is, make it obvious for me. I had taken a couple classes and been practicing, practicing, practicing and absorbing any information that I could find or that anyone wanted to share. No less than 12 hours later I got a call from my step-mom telling me that I should really start taking pictures professionally because she got no less than 10 remarks on the pictures I had printed and sent which she promptly framed and put on her wall. And then the same day I got a message on Facebook from a friend to see if I would be willing to take some pictures of her 9 month-old. And so it began…
I am building my portfolio and am up for anything. Maternity, Newborns, Births, Engagements, Weddings…I’m game. And I’m excited to have the opportunity.
