How can she be almost 1? | Denver Baby Photographer | Golden Colorado

Little girl, you are growing up way to fast.  When did you decide that you would not look in the direction of my camera?  Your birthday is a month from yesterday.

How on earth did time fly by?  You are nearly walking…or should I say running?  You just let go and take as many steps as you can before falling.  And you are so petite…only the 3rd percentile for your weight…I guess after your big sister, I never expected to have a petite child.

You love avocados.  You absolutely refuse to leave anything in your hair.  And I’d love it if you slept through the night, but I’ll take the 6 hour stretch you give me.  Some day.  But for now, I’ll just enjoy my little girl.  You wont be this little forever.  I love you sweet girl.  To the moon and back.

Daniel and Patrick | Golden Childrens Photographer | Denver Colorado

Meet Daniel.  Kayla’s middle child.  Another handsome boy…who is generally pretty uninterested in getting his picture take.  Oh, photographer’s children.  🙂   My Landri was this way for a very long time.  Here are another couple pictures from our day at the park.

And here is Kayla’s oldest little boy, Patrick.  What a good big brother.  He’s got lots to say and is more than happy to cooperate when a camera is around.  So nice!

Thomas at 1-Year Old | Golden Childrens Photographer | Denver Colorado

Last week I met Kayla at the park with her three boys.  We got to let the kiddos play, get some adult conversation in and even managed to snap a few photos…but don’t be fooled…it can get kinda crazy with her three boys and my two girls.  It sure is nice to be able to get together to hang out with kids in tow…and it doesn’t faze either one of us to just continue talking through the interruptions, yelling, laughing, and screaming.

Here is Thomas…her youngest.  Umm….adorable, right?  I’m such a sucker for this age….love love love.

Scott & Emily | Golden Maternity Photographer | Denver Colorado

Pregnancy is just one of those things that is magical.  I am in awe of our bodies.  We can grow perfect little tiny humans in our bellies.  And then deliver them into this world.  How incredible.

This is Emily and Scott.  What a super sweet couple.  They are silly and sweet and show a genuine love and respect for one another.  They are expecting a baby boy this July and just can’t wait to see him face to face.  In the mean time, we will just have to admire the transformation to his Mama’s belly.

Lorelai | Golden Maternity and Childrens Photographer | Denver Colorado

Aaaand here are some pictures of Miss Lorelai.  She is three and half and about to become a big sister to a little sister.  I know firsthand what a sweet relationship this can be.  I have a little sister and I have a daughter with a little sister.  There is something so special about two little girls.

Lorelai was so not interested in taking pictures at the beginning….really, I don’t know many little ones who are at that age.  But we managed to get her a little more comfortable and her Mommy and Daddy may or may not have brought a cherry lollipop as a reward.  Nothing like a little bribery, right?  Once she loosened up, the laughs flowed easily and we captured some super sweet images.
